When my daughter was only four months old, she hummed the tune to the TV show "Green Acres". No one would believe me. I took her to the doctor and told him about it and he thought I was crazy. But, the nurse who had taken my baby off to weigh her stuck her head into the room with a big goofy grin and gestured for us to come with her. My baby was in the scales, humming the "Green Acres" song. She grew up to be a brilliant educator / reading specialist.

A friend of mine had the same experience. Noone in her family listened to country music, but one day her daughter was crying and just wouldn't stop.... well, they were flipping through channels and when it stopped on the country music station, she stopped crying and started bopping up and down. It was really cute actually.. that girl still loves country music.

It is true that a fetuse can experiance emotional and physical pleasure (ex. it has been documented that premature babies inside the womb masturbate). So why cant a 10-month old baby experiance pleasure while listening to music? PS, dont allow that... Hip Hop & R&B is much better!
