You have to put some money in to get a license to sale and then you order stuff like toothpaste and soap from that buisness and at the end of the month they send you a check. But to get the check you have to get 100 points or something like that, and you can sell those stuff to other people and the more people get in the more money you get. It's kind of confusing and you have to have a bank account.

The question I always ask myself is:
How does this company make its money?

If they get the new investors to put money in for products, and have high payouts to the original investors, I would beware.
Because the gvt. looks at these as ponzi schemes and sends IRS agents to see if they're breaking any laws.

Just remember nobody gets something for nothing.

There are a couple of things you could do to determine if a company is a "pyramid" scheme or not. If the company pays, has a product and/or service that customers use who are NOT involved in the company, generally it is not a pyramid. You will get many ignorant responses calling many companies a pyramid scheme, but don't listen to them.

Every business/company is a "pyramid". The only difference with business owners is they are at the top of their own pyramid instead of starting at the bottom and hopelessly trying to reach the top, as with most jobs in corporate America.

Just do your due dilligence and form an intelligent opinion. Just because something sounds too good to be true doesn't mean you shouldn't take a look...

Pyramid Schemes are illegal. Most business are a pyramid of sorts with CEO and those under him/her and those under them, etc etc From what I can tell, the binary MLM is the simplest and best and that is what i am doing. Plus the product I am marketing is in the PDR(physicians desk reference) and recommended by Oprah's physician and many others. Its many attributes are documented and essential to longevity and quality of life. IT sounds too good to be true, but it is!! And it's unsurpassed in support and help with your business. Network marketing is at the top of the list when it comes to big money earners...do not be afraid of them.

If someone is recruiting you, it's most likely a pyramid. When they brag about how much money you can make, ask to see last year's tax return. That will shut them up.

The Better Business Bureau should have a local office. My opinion, I don't do business with anyone not listed.
