If you do, I'm already feeling envious because I have to go back to work tomorrow. Holidays in the middle of the week should be outlawed. Let's start a petition.

I have to work the rest of the week too. Today feels like Sunday all over again but I kinda like the middle of the week thing - it breaks up the week.

No. I agree. There shouldn't be any holidays in the middle of a workweek. It makes no sense. They should be on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays so people can have a 3 day weekend. It doesn't make sense to shut down the country in the middle of the week.

I have thursday and friday off, but only because I took 16 hours of vacation time

Didn't even have today off much less Thursday and Friday.

They over booked me for Tuesday and Thursday so I get my day off worker harder for two days. Not an ideal situation
