I can promise you that it is not slow in the charter bus driving department. There is not really a slow period other than maybe Christmas. Then there is New Years and that makes up for those few days when some of the showrooms are dark.

I have been in the Travel Business now for along time and I have lived and operated many charters to and in Las Vegas. There is such a demand for what you do, move there!!!! Don't worry about the slow period, Vegas canceled that a few years ago.

The only thing that is slow are the people in the summer as the heat is extreme. Toady it was 111 degrees! The buses are all air conditioned. A good company to work for is CoachUSA but there are others that are likewise good to work for.

Great opportunities!!

Oh and to the lovely lady that said the comment about the Dr's and the population growth, that is not the reason the Doctors left las Vegas for greener pastures. It was the Medical Malpractice Insurance costs and the number of sue happy patients and those ambulance chasing Lawyers. Some of the rates were over $100,000 a year for coverage and they could not rationalize that when they could work in another state for much less.

We all drive to Southern California for medical care anyway.

July is pretty much the slowest full month of the year but us southern Californians keep the place busy for them anyway!

Seriously though... By mid-June, the big convention business slows down and most Americans dont want to spend summer vacation in 110 degree heat so between late June and August is the slowest 6 weeks in town. With that said, there are still a lot of people there! Around the beginning of August, the Europeans all go on vacation and many of then end up in Vegas which swells the crowds again. After Labor Day, the weather starts cooling off and the convention business picks up a again through late November. There is a big rodeo in town the first 2 weeks of December, which is a huge event then it completely dies down through Xmas up until a few days before New Years.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

Summer is busy. You will have more charter bus business than you can handle. I saw a good market! This one guy got a tour group of deaf people for uptown at the Fremont.
That and the handicap are the two markets that have a void and you can fill.

Las Vegas is one of the most dynamic cities in the world for the tourists. This city is always busy all year round. I love Las Vegas but I do not live there. Due to the sky rocketing population, there are not enough doctors and hospitals. That means long wait to be called in, even when you are in an emergency. Good luck!
