I'm an Oakland girl myself, and I have not been there in a really long time. I heard the one on E. 14th was shut down. I might be wrong, but I know the owner or someone that worked ther got killed. What about Everett & Jones!!!!! Thanks for flashing me back to my town!!!

Flint's no longer exists in the East Bay.
These days, the BEST BBQ is served at Bo's in Lafayette
It's a 20 minute drive from Oakland, and well worth the trip.
Food is always great and the service is excellent.

Don't know Oakland but SF best barbecue was Leonard's on Filmore and they delivered..actually that was 40 years ago and they were the best in the city, any one remember them? R they still there? Family owned back then.60s and left there in 72..Oh yeah and the only Chinese delivery in the 69s was The Chinese Kitchen are they still around? Probably not I am sure they poisioned a few people to death long ago.
