This one is huge, thank god I was in the car.... Of course I never had the camera with me either... They are really bad here this year....

yea i have seen a live wild black bear and my dad has killed 2 of them. recently someone in our area ran into one with a motorcycle. and the man lived. the bear around here are very bad this year also. you can easliy see them in anyones yard.

Yep. While on a fishing vacation up in Canada, I drove the kids to the local landfill to watch the black bears rummaging through the garbage. It would usually be a whole family of bears including little ones.

I have 2 that live very close to my house and I often see them in my back yard. I live in the Hills of East Tennessee near the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Bears are not an uncommon sight here.

Yes. They live on the hill across the creek here in southern NY and just love raiding bird feeders, so we don't put them out in the warm weather. I have also seen them in Vermont and Montana while working there.

I'm in NW NJ and we have our own neighborhood black bear.
He travels the same path every day, back and forth. Yes, he's
big, too and he scratches his back on our young evergreens. Killed several in years past. But we love him.

Actually I have at Yosemite national park, I am not sure how wild it was as it was eating out of a trash can.
