what is that equal to? i mean, is it a tablespoon, 2 teaspoons, etc. does anybody know?? thanks!

Try filling one with water and then measuring it using a teaspoon ... if there is a smaller amount left at the end, use a 'smaller spoon' and 'add it up' ... but BE CAREFUL because the 'spoon' in one type of formula may not be the same size as the spoon in another type of formula.

I never tried measuring them against an actual teaspoon but I did measure one against another and Enfamil Lipil, Similac Advance and Parent's Choice with DHA and ARA all have the same size scoop.

nope but why dont you take a table spoon and dump water in it till its full. How many tablespoons did it take?? I would guess 2 but my grandson hasn't had formula in quite awhile.

They are generally a tablespoon. But measure it to be sure.

Different formulas have different measures, actually. If you look at the can of formula you use it should tell you -- it is generally *not* a measure of volume, such as a tsp or Tbsp, but rather, one of weight. One of those scoops is usually "x" number of milligrams.
If you lost the scoop, just open another can of formula and use the new scoop. I always saved the scoop, keeping a couple in reserve, in case one was accidentally thrown away or something. I also learned to be careful, when we changed formulas (even different lines of the same brand of formula), because the scoop sizes are not the same.

All I know ours is 50mls of water is one scoop, look on side of the formula tin is really small writting its different for every one.

My container says it is 0.2 ounces. or 8.5 grams. I'd convert it for you but school is over for me until the fall.

varies ,depends on manurfacter.some are concentrated some are richer. best to read label.
