okay, we probably all read the book 5. but if you noticed in the beginning of the book after harry comes from court, he goes to school on the caridge, harry sees the "invisible" horse *forgot what they are called, something with a T* and hermoine says that only people that have almost experienced death can see them, well i was wondering about Luna Lovegood, how has she experienced death, i mean isn't that strange that she can see them too, and isn't it also strange that she wanted to help harry out at the end of book in the ministry. idk about you but i have a feeling that in the last book something has to deal with her and voldemort. or they must have a communication with him or sumthing, plz right back

Only people who have witnessed death can see thestrals. And I believe it was Hagrid and not Hermione who explained this. Luna saw her mother die, and though Harry was present when his folks died, he could see the thestrals until after Cedric's death had set in for him.

So much speculation about Harry and his last adventure. I can't wait to get my hands on that book. I shall do as I did with the others...stay up for hours until early into the morning attempting to consume with my eyes as many pages as possible. I hadn't considered the possibility of Luna experiencing death...or if I had, it's been quite a while since I read that part, so perhaps I've forgotten. Your theory is worth pondering. There are so many different directions the last book could take. Let us hope that the path leads down the lane we desire.

I think Luna is just a nice person and she saw her mother die. And it is witnessed death. Hate to break it to you but though harry has come close to death he hasnt even experienced death or else he would be dead. There is a lot of speculation and when the book comes out I am going to grab it and run to a place with no cell phone reception or internet connection that has a locked door with a key only I have and read it so that nobody can spoil it for me.

Luna watched her mother die, that was the death she experienced. She'll probably help, but she's not really important in the book to fight Voldemort one-on-one or anything.

Luna saw her mother die. And for being stange that Luna wanted to help? no. I think it was just out of the goodness of her heart and friendship that she wanted to help Harry.

I think Harry could possibly be the heir of Gryfindor...but that's just me.

I've also heard a theory about how Lupin could really be James Potter because of a body switch spell or something O_o. I really don't know
