The Bulls still need a big man but dont have the money for an all star. How about a sign and trade with Duhon and Noc for Darko? Hes a good shot blocker and the combo of Darko, Thomas and Noah would be a good fit with Ben Wallace.

Should the Bulls go for it?

It could happen. Darko was just informed by the Magic that his services are no longer required, and the Bulls still have a mid level exception that could bring him in without a trade.

And Darko still has something to prove after being selected #2 overall in 2003. He showed some promise last season and a tough Scott Skiles may be what he needs to produce consistently. And Ben Wallace being a former teammate could add insight to his development as a Chicago Bull.

i think darko would be a good fit for the chicago bulls given his potential. If you've been watching how he plays, he's good but he just doesn't have enough playing time. he can blossom into a solid low post scorer in chicago then maybe the bulls can advance or trade him along with duhon to another team and get a better inside presence.

Good idea, but the Darko wants 10 mil (10 mil for 5.5 ppg!!!)
So the Bulls want nothing to do with that kind of money (go figure).

Like the other guy said- they're looking to get Gasol. A much better fit and a proven big scorer.

Sadly, Darko might be the best choice for the Bulls. One of the top free agents will end up in Chicago for the mid level exemption of 5.5 million - Chris Mihm, Joe Smith, Darko being three of the main possibilities. It doesn't solve the Bulls low post scoring issues, but one of those guys will be the best Paxson can do without gutting the team.

He is of no value to the Bulls unless they can get him for little and package him with other pieces to Memphis for Pau Gasol or to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal. If not, they have no use for him because they need a dominent interior scorer, not another soft role player who can get you 8-10 points a night.

how about darko to raptors? he's a better shot blocker than rasho and a potential "big 3" in bosh, bargnani & darko.
