Those are for this year.

He has 492 Career HR's.

He will be 32 later this month. He still has a lot of years left in him, hopefully.

Overrated?

No, he's good.

I don't even really care for Alex Rodriguez but he is not overrated. The guy produces; end of story. His life and character matter not when it comes to what he does on the baseball field.

Absolutely, he is overrated. He was purely a regular season player, that would totally freeze up, choke. He went to I think NINE post-seasons, and produced big only ONE year,2009.One year out of NINE. The biggest stars of the 1996-2003 years made probably half what A-Rod made, but they all produced; Williams, Jeter, Martinez, O'Neill, Knoblauch, Posada, Brosius, all got far more big hits in the post-season,than A-Rod ever did in 9-10 years.LOOK IT UP. He was Fool's Gold.

Not at all. He is very fortunate to be in a line up with a bunch of great hitters, so you cant pitch around him. I wish Barry Bonds in his prime had that kind of line up to be in. He would have had 900 home runs by now. A-rod overrated ... no way

The only reason this question is even asked is because of the New York fans and media... if this guy played just about anywhere else, he'd be the most revered player in baseball. Barring injury, he will retire as one of the top five players ever.
