Can not.
On most BMWs the trunk lid button is on top of the hood release leaver. On yours though, there is no button. There's only two ways to open it:
1. Unlock your car completely from the door or the glove box and use the little handle below the trunk lid (on mine it's a soft pad).
2. With the key directly, put it in the lock and turn turn to the left while it's still to the left, pull it out a little. This will unlock your trunk only, not the car, so when you drop the lid closed, everything will be locked again.
The two "Methods" are kinda the same thing, but they give you a different final result.

u can fit a electric trunk opener with a button to open from inside the car.ask a qualified mechanic.
.but still u have to go out to close it.
Bear in mind that the electric system for alarm system in the trunk should not be disturbed while installing electric opener.
u can get it done,gd luck.

There are no trunk release lever or buttons in all early BMWs such as yours... unfortunately.

Even for the E46 (1999 - on), they only added an electrical button on some of the models.

look on the floor drivers side next to the door for a lever or in the glove box for a button
