I think that depends on your life and the situations that come up in it. I have been in love more than once but I have never cared about someone the way I care about my current partner. Same thing for him. Just depends like I said.

I believe and I know it to be true. Mom and Dad were married for fiftyfour years and were completely in love. The problem lies in that many people are not really in love when they get married. So. love gets a bad wrap instead of the people making the mistakes. They don't get to know each other on an intellectual level. It's called intellectual foreplay....getting to know your partner on an extremely close level. Today people fall in love with being in love...and think about the pressures of society in being alone. Look around, you will see people all over who are really in love..........one partner for their life time and they are happy.

No........... I do not believe this to be true ... you can love many times and it be real .... but,.....when you do not nuture that love you fall out.... You aways care but the passion goes by the wayside ......And you move to someone eles who can give you both the passion and the love.... That kind of love last forever...as long as you take care of it...............

Yes I do believe you can love just one person your whole life, if you are lucky and meet your soul mate early enough, that could potentially last forever.
