Why are you trying to get a $29 cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819104305

and over pay $43 for it?

These processors will both fit in the same socket for one reason and one reason only... you copy and pasted the same link twice. If your considering upgrading from one of these processors to the next I would consider saving your money. I don't think there would be a noticeable performance boost... or decrease... or anything. HOWEVER if you are looking to buy one of these processors might I strongly recommend looking at www.newegg.com and save yourself about $50.

I see the same link for the processor and socket, the CPU is a AM2 slot processor. You'll need a motherboard that handles that socket.

Hi also dont forget that if you install an AM 2 motherboard you may need different memory than you have in your present board check out the mobo specs first.
