I honestly don't remember the last time that I cried. I didn't cry when my parents died or even when my son was killed in Afghanistan three years ago. Some people just can't cry. Doesn't mean we're not sad, we just can't cry. Maybe I cried when my wife was killed in 1972, yes I think maybe I did.

Yesterday. I complained about not playing basketball enough, and was truly thinking if I really could get a basketball scholarship, and maybe even be in the NBA. And I could be in a championship team. My dream saddens me for a large reason; it's such a big dream, a very hard dream to accomplish. I would have to practice 8 hours a day like Maravich, but I just can't. Well, we'll see...

At co-workers husband had a massive heart attack and died last Friday. He was only 50 years old and they were high school sweethearts. I attended the funeral yesterday and of course, I cried.

Thoughts of children getting pushed into cattlecars towards Nazi concentration camps during the Holocaust. Dark, I know, but it happened and every so often the thought occurs to me as I watch my own children at play and thank God they don't live in such a place and time. Brrr......

last time i cried was last night because i was afraid of losing a friendship. but i now have lost it today. and yesterday because it was my official 4 month break-up with my first boyfriend with a guy i loved sooo much.
