You spend a third of your life in bed. $200 is a bargain.

I just bought a Sleep Number bed that cost almost $3000.

(Love it, by the way.)

I have a full-size bed that I paid $223 for which included the mattress, rails, box spring, and delivery. So $200 for a twin? Indeed, too expensive. You don't need name brand for a bed. Just something comfortable.

That's not too bad...if you are taking about the matress itself and not including the frame. The frame is going to cost extra no doubt, but another more than $250 or so for a mattress is asking for too much (unless it is some sort of ergonomic matress which conforms to the contours of the body and helps to support the spine, neck and lower back).

You might consider a cheaper alternative for a twin bed. Those are usually found at places like IKEA.

Good luck.

Are you asking about the mattress set or the headboard, footboard and bed frame. I paid a bit over $200 for a good twin mattress and about the same for the matching box spring.

That just depends, Is it worth two hundred dollars to you?? If it is you should buy it, if not then don't buy it!!! Also, ask yourself if you REALLY need it, if you don't REALLY need it then don't buy it! I hope this helps you!!!
