I would say so , she won't be pacing the floor worrying her self about it if she's locked out there , so you did her a great service . I"ve got the exact same problem only different , my marriage is on the rocks , my wife broke up with her boyfriend so I'm gonna have to put up with her again now : (

umm bud, i really dint think that was a smooth move, locking her outside! She was probably pretty mad, you took it way too literal. She means she wants to do her own thing once and a while maybe hang out with her Friends as a girls night out - with out you. If you giver her a lot of space then she will start to miss you. If your being the man in the relationship, do what hes wants, let her do her own things, but be there when she needs you. Set aside a certain day though that its just the two of you, even something simple like go to the beach or for a walk in a conservation area, you get the drift.

She's probably still ticked off about you taking your mother-in-law to the airport a week early for her flight...tell her your tossing her the house keys out the window to get back in..pssst..only throw her the car keys..when she puts the keys in the lock she'll end up driving the house around the block..it will be a real gas.....

Sure. That's exactly what she meant. Good job being able to read so well into that. :-) haha. I'm sure that she probably just meant that she needed some time away from you for herself. Give her some time out of the house, though. Maybe it will make her change her tune.

No this isn't what she meant. She needs real space, the kind of space she would get if you dropped her off in the middle of the desert at night. If there are no deserts by you, feel free to substitute a large forest or swampy marsh.

Just checked your profile ... so you became a member on June 11, less than a month ago and you already racked up 1,531 points (level 3, no less).
So I'm almost thinking that you locked your wife out on June 11 already ... because how else would you have so much time on your hands?
Hmmmm...

Well are you the funny guy today? That is a good one. Well if you locked her out of the house my guess is the door will not be swinging back your way anytime soon!

That's cute! Even my husband got a little chuckle, lol But unfortunately, saying "I need space" is akin to saying, "It's me, not you", just before the big kiss-off!

I suspect that you are going to have more space soon...between your teeth! But it is a pleasant thought, and who knows, she may have exactly what she wanted...are you so sure she is waiting at the door?
