Are you using a nice rich shave gel? Or moisturizing body wash? Whatever you do, never shave dry, or with just water. You will get razor burn every time. Try using "Skintimate". It's very rich, with lots of moisturizers. Also you say your razor is sharp. How often do you change razors? The "razor burn" could also be from using an old razor that's irritated the skin. Use a fresh, new one everytime.

The only way that i don't get razor burn is if i soak in the battub for about 5 min before i shave. It helps a lot.

In addition to the other great things everyone suggested, remember to only go over one area ONCE. You expose your skin to more friction and irritation from the sharp blade each time you run the blade over your skin. That's why it's good that you're using a sharp blade so you don't have to shave over any area twice. Good luck!

Your legs have to be moisturized enough before you can shave. It's better to shave while in the shower. The heat and steam will open your pores, making it easier to shave. Also, you must use some sort of shaving cream or lotion.
