It bother me that you seem to view it as "Tipper Gore", rather than a bipartisan nutty panel from both sides of the aisle. A typical dog and pony show. The usual political nonsense where they mess about in something, they have no right to regulate. That's why it was run by a bunch of layabout political wives. In comparison to most other censorship attempts it ended rather harmlessly with a parental advisory sticker. Big whoop Hardly the equivalent of the Comics' code or even the Movie ratings board.

I suspect that Al Gore III is a closet Rush fan and just thinks drugs are cool. I wonder if he has a maid that buys his dope in a parking lot late at night. At first I thought the news was about Rush, but then I never heard that they found a ton of Viagra.

Tipper is just another hypocritical politico who wants to stick her nose in everybody's home because she has no control over what goes on in hers. That she and her hubby have gotten a free ride over the years on this issue is sickening.
