Everytime me and husband have sex, hes always looking at us doing it in the mirror. He says it makes him enjoy sex more, but to me, I find it really weird. Does anyone elses husband do that, or is my husband weird? what should I do to make him stop this?

No both my husband and I look at ourselves in the mirror and we both enjoy it. It gives us a better visual. I advise not to try to stop your husband from doing this, if looking in the mirror makes him enjoy sex, then let it be. He's still looking at you and him, so there should be nothing for you to worry about.

That's kinda funny you would ask that because my husband has done the same thing!! not everytime but i think men are just wierd like that and that women just think about sex in a totally different light if you know what i mean!!! Maybe you should just try to tell him that you would enjoy it more if he'd look at you're face sometimes instead of whats goin on in the mirror!!!! tell him it would make it more like you're actually makin love to you're husband rather than just tryin to get a nut!!! "sorry to be so blunt, but i know exactly what you're talkin about!!!'

This guy is no "...loving, doting husband and father....". From your description, he sounds more like a self-centered bum with a serious alcohol problem. If he truly cared, he would see what his behavior is doing to you, your family, and your relationship. He is, very likely, an alcoholic who needs immediate therapy. Alcohol has taken charge of his life. See if you can get him to see a counselor who specializes in substance abuse. Offer to go along. Maybe counseling can help him turn himself around...IF he even wants to. Is this the way you want to spend the rest of your married life? If not, perhaps it is time to look at your options if he refuses counseling.

I think your husband is having a little fantasy in his head. i think he's thinking he's being watched and it turns him on more. Don't worry about it enjoy it with him. It's weird at first but just go with the flow you never know your inner fantasies might come out too.

Actually it is not weird, my husband does it too. And you know what I enjoy it too, it gives you a rush and it is more exciting like watching a porn movie. Be open minded and I promise you you will grow to love it. Actually my room is filled with mirrors all around.

"He isnt doing anything wrong and telling him no will make him feel that you let him do something and now your taking it away. If you do feel you have to let him know that it is distracting you or your uncomfortable about it=
try and have something that will help him enjoy the time more. I suggest the book for marrieds "Men are from mars-and they have special version.
Its all good "In marriage the bed is undefiled, but the others will be judged." Hebrews 13th chapter
This is helpful to all and for all situations=I suggest=help from above-in honor and care with commitment, any decent acting girl or guy should expect to be respected.

and this is a guide to help you understand= John 3 repent from sins, even one lie and ask Jesus in to be your friend and help you understand, amen.

this helped me most the words of Jesus spoken from heaven for us= Revelation 1:1 (chapter 1: verse 1) & 3:19&20 "As many as I love I rebuke and chasten, be quick therefore and repent (turn from your sins/even one lie, to me. Behold I stand at your heart's door and knock, if you hear my word and open the door, I will come in and be your friend."

so i prayed "Jesus forgive me for my lust and lies, and other things and help me do better, be my friend, amen."

and truely Jesus became my best friend.

then your ready for the respect of others and the joy of life and heaven too=Seize the Day with Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Simplicity of the Good News
"It will always be true that the wisest course for the disciple is always to abide solely by the word of God in all simplicity." - THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
Putting God's Principles into action
We can make it all very difficult. In fact, we can make the good news obscure. We can make it an object of historical study, or the focus of a philosophical or ethical treatise, rather than a word which addresses us and challenges us to believe its precepts and to live accordingly. What is difficult about the Bible is not so much in understanding it, but in living it out.
What the Bible is saying
But God has blessed you, because your eyes can see and your ears can hear! Many prophets and good people were eager to see what you see and to hear what you hear. But I tell you that they did not see or hear. (Matthew 13:16-17)
Thoughts
The disciple wants to hear the Word of the Master and, because he or she loves the Master and is loved by Him, finds the Masters words believable and livable.

Praying the best for you too, David

this will help your heart too=

Men are stimulated visually. It is just the way it is. They are turned on by what they see. I wouldn't worry about it too much and don't try and get him to stop. You should feel great that he likes to look at what the two of you are doing. There is nothing wrong with it, so don't worry. Just enjoy!!!!

Katie,
If it makes him enjoy it more, and he certainly isn't hurting anyone, than why make such a big fuss about it? Maybe he's fantasizing that he is the star in an X movie...let him have his fantasies... He's with you, loving you, what's the harm??

There is nothing wrong with this. Women are more emotional and men are more visual. Most men like to see themselves having sex. It turns them on. It is very normal. I am a guy and every guy that I know likes that. So there is nothing weird at all.
