Didn't really know how to categorize this question. If you can think of a better category, let me know.

Could you cancel the health club and use the bucks for rent? You have to eat, sleep, and sh!t. A van will not serve those basic 3.

I may actually cost you more than you save. You would save the rent and utilities but might not be able to have clothes and enough rest to keep a good job.
Renting a studio apartment or motel room and sharing it with one or two other people would cost you $200-300 a month minimum but you could go to work well rested and dressed in ironed clothing.
Living in a van would be urban camping, always looking for a safe place to park or having to drive to a campground to have a campfire. Trying to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer might having you going into places where you would spend money like theaters.

It depends where you live really, in some places it isn't even legal.
However, if it's legal where you are, you'll save on rent, electricity, gas, and a whole bunch of other bills. Including some taxes (which is normally why it isn't legal). However, have you considered food? Even with these savings you probably can't afford to eat out every meal, and I can't imagine the cooking facilities are too great in your van.

I'm sure you could save tons of money -- it's your dignity you would be losing.
