God, that's insane! What you do is you hiss at it, kinda bare you teeth and hiss right at her. but don't let her scratch you, that'll end badly...i'm allergic to cats, so i only see them when i go my piano lesson (teacher has 3 cats) and my friends' houses. also a close family friend has a cat that's so fat, it weighs more that my dog and can barely get up the steps.

Not a cat that lives with me has ever *intentionally* tripped me as far as I can tell. Not to say I haven't been tripped by them. Usually it is to get attention or just wanting to be as close as possible to their human without understanding the consequences of a person not looking out for them. This has happened with a friendly cat outside that after petting it decides to get in my way to keep me around.

mine is mean too. she will cry for me then when i stop what im doing to pet her she will runn away and look at me like im dumb. she will also come sit on the couch back and try to put her butt in my face. not cool. but she does redeem herself by snuggling up to me everynight when i go to sleep. i rescued her old as from the shelter. i went to get a kitten and she jumped out of the cage. the lady said no one would adopt her b/c of her age. i said no one can adopt her cause shes mine. hand me my baby.

I can't be 100% sure, but they run in front of me when I am walking, going down stairs, and I am holding something that impedes my view.

I don't like cats, and please don't take offense to that, but the ones I have encountered are evil, and have tripped me on purpose. My aunt's used to do it all the time while I was pregnant. Nasty little thing!!

She just wants attention! My cat is very needy, too. I don't think they do it to be mean.
