The earth was material from gases which combined somewhere in the cosmos producing all the raw materials for earth. After billions of years, attracting one another, they formed into what we know know are planets, one of which is the earth. They came from a vast explosion within the core of the Galaxy.
We Will perhaps never know during our time here what super forces, spiritual forces/the Lord and powers did to create the original elements which exploded, spewing into space. But earth's sun is around 4 billion years old

Read your bible, it answers all questions. Especially this one. And the earth isn't but maybe 3000 years old.

God created it millions or billions of years ago. It's possible he could have used the Big Bang to start His creation.
