Just wondering if swimmng in a swimming pool with high chlorine could affect the chances of conception... we swim every chance we get and we have been ttc with no luck i was wondering if for some reason the chlorine could be bad for me while we are ttc? Thanks for the advice and lots of baby dust to all!

I have been in for the yearly check up with my gyno she said everything looks great and she said go ahead and start trying.. We have only been TTC for 3 months. I was just wondering about the chlorine issue someone had mentioned to us.....

the chlorine in the pool could affect the acidity of your vagina that will affect conception...it's not real likely though...just maybe don't swim around the time of ovulation

not unless you are doing something to force alot of water up into your vagina!! Swimming is not a barrier to conception, se your dr for a check up
