LOL, I had a question like this a few weeks ago. These were my top tear jerkin country songs:
Country Bumpkin by Cal Smith
Teddy Bear by Red Sovine
In My Next Life by Merle Haggard
I Thought That He Walked On Water by Randy Travis
Two Out Of Three by Charlie Daniels
Great question, take care.

Sheesh- there's so many... I always wonder if the stories are true...
Three Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis....
Skin by Rascal Flatts- I want that boy to be my son- he's totally AWESOME!!!!
She Misses Him by Tim Rushlow- I'm sure this story plays out in homes all over. My husband worked in a nursing home about the time we got Tim's CD...
John Michael Montgomery's song about the little girl-- watched her parents die, then her new mom and dad take her to church, she sees a crucifix, "I don't know who He is, but I know He got off..." (crud- chokes me up just remembering the song!)
Most recenty, Tough by Craig Morgan- Breast cancer runs in my family, and I've been seeing some things in my own body that worry me, so when I hear that song, I wonder if I am capable of being that strong.
Edit-- Oh, there was another one I heard today, it's also about someone with cancer... and I can't remember what it was!.... I'm going to go shower, try to remember....
I remember the title!... but I don't remember the artist- I've only heard it once...
18 Video Tapes... the kid is getting into his teen years, and starting to cause some mischief, and his mom sits him down, says that when his dad found out he was dieing, Dad made some videos- stuff he felt his son needed to know... It will completely tear your heart out!!!

He stopped loving her today - George Jones.
The Cowboy Rides Away- George Strait (mainly because it marks the end of a concert for George and it's sad and I can't help it since)
