I agree I don't like it either but let's give folks a break. Cambridge University researched this very subject and found that the human mind does not read every word by itself but the word as a whole. The only important thing is, is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The majority of people can actually read the following, which is full of typographical errors. On q&a, we don't profess to be typing professionals and shouldn't be held to perfection. I bet you can read the following with no problem....
i cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.
Edit: Wow.... Somebody sure ran through and gave "all" a bunch of thumbs down. I guess this is a controversial question. I do find it annoying when others don't use spell check, but my point is that it's not a full-fledged guarantee that your question/answer will be error free.
