It's disgusting and sadly I'm not surprised. This world and the people in it aren't what they used to be. I would depend on my faithful dog before I would a person. And Lisa E isn't far off at all. I live in California and I have a Prosthetic leg, I fell in a shopping center parking lot last week (the leg just fell off, it was new and I just came from the Dr's office) My leg was in one place and I was in the other. Four people saw me and they all walked the other way. I know there are good decent people out there...somewhere? We have become immune to other people's feelings, a persons life seems to be unimportant nowadays. That poor girl could very well be alive today if it weren't for the selfishness of others. .

What is this world coming too? I'm glad you shared this story with me. It makes me sick to think more people would walk by, rather than help. Why? Do they think they are going to get sued for helping people? Maybe it's an inconvenience to dial 3 numbers 911. Wake up people and if it were you would you want someone taking your picture on their cell phone. Wow, they have something to talk about now. They should be charged with something. She was only 27. How sad. Why are so many wrong doings going on everyday? Because? PEOPLE.

I am so ashamed to be from Kansas when I hear things like this happening.
A similar incident happened early last year. A man was sentenced to six months in prison for attempted theft after he stepped over the body of 17-year-old Quik Trip employee Brian Hall to steal cigarettes.

It makes me wonder if my perceptions of the world are completely out of whack. For people to do something like this...you'd have to be completely heartless. Has it come to that? I could believe this in California (I know, Californian's will jump me for saying that but California is it's own, selfish little world compared to other places I've lived). In Kansas...I don't understand. Here in Ohio...I just don't see that ever happening, but...apparently I don't know human nature as well as I thought. This is very sad.

It makes me think that there is something very wrong with the way that people have come to treat other people in some parts of the world, and it makes me feel sad and disgusted.

That is so sad. It makes my stomach hurt. Where do people like that come from. I could never in my life not help someone in a situation like that. The world is getting numb to violence and it is very scary!

Mad as hell that's how! A person dying doesn't need their picture taken by an arrogant dummy. What good is it going to do though. Today people only care about themselves and nothing else. Pathetic.

I wrote the same question here about an hour ago. It is very sad and disgusting that people are so numb that they would do such a thing...Those people may have contrubuted to her death by their inaction.

It makes me want to stab myself, roll into the road, and wait to have my picture taken by a bunch of idiots while I bleed to death and fry under the rays of the sun.
