I think I have come up with a good idea and I don't want to waste it or put it in the wrong hands.

I'm an inventor with over 40 issued US patents, some of which have been licensed profitably. As far as I can tell, all of these services are rip-offs. Every time I get a patent, I get lots of solicitations from these folks, offering free plane trips and implying guaranteed success....... What they seem to really be about is getting you to spend $3,000 to $5,000 for a 'report' and marketing materials that any MBA student could put together in about 2 hours. .... and a list of companies and a slot at a trade show.......

If you think your idea has merit, file a US provisional application for $80. or better.... get a patent search and file a US utility patent with a lawyer or patent agent. Beat the pavement and be presistant in getting it in front of an industry leader who has market access for the product. Don't pay anyone to 'market' it.... unless they can demonstrate that they have a personal, real relationship with a specific decision maker at a high level in the target customer company. If they claim so, check it out with a few phone calls.

Good luck.
