It smells like something is burning, what do I do ?

the first thing you can do is unplug the computer from the electricity, after that you can open your computer, and clean it, with air. or with an special brush. Just don't unplug anything inside the computer, just take a look, and see if anything is burn, check your processor, to see if its ok. if is not. You need a new computer! good luck.

Turn it off, it either is your computer overheating or you aren't getting enough ventilation for it. You need ventilation to properly cool the system.....Sometimes mine smells when it gets a little hot. Do you have temperature gauges? If so, the normal temperature for a processor is 40-60 Celsius (About 100 Fahrenheit or so) And the motherboard is about 40 degrees celsius too. If it is bought, I think your fine, if you built it yourself, hmmm you may want to change something around.
