1. Serial Experiments Lain - My all time favorite anime. It transcends all others in both plot and character development. every where you look, there is an obscure literary illusion. It is so intriging, you wont be able to stop watching. You will also never be able to stop questioning everything around you. Basically, the Matrix x 50 = Lain. I would recomend it to anyone who loves philosophy and/or John C. Lilly 2. Ghost in the Shell - Watch out, this one's fast, but in a good way. With deep philosophical themes, GITS is another show that will make you question what humanity really is. Also filled with literaly allusions, it will immediatly draw you in. Incredible special effects and action scenes. I deffinately had a few "OH MY ******* GOD!" moments watching this show. For anyone who love anime violence, you'll deffinatly enjoy this. Im telling you, there's something oddly facinating about seeing torn flesh and muscle mixed with wires and computer chips. The best part? No supernatural forces what-so-ever. Everything is 100% believable, logic, and plausable, just the way I like it.. 3. Death Note - Great plot, great character development, great themes. Over all just a wonderful show. Its very easy to get attached. The score is wonderful and the artwork is beautiful. Very easy to obsess over ^^; DO NOT WATCH THE DUB. it blows. 4. Cowboy Bebop - I hate putting this fourth, so Im going to say It's tied with Death Note for third. Absolutley mind blowing. There is a compelling aspect to the characters that will not allow you to turn away. The art direction is phenomenal and the score (done by the godess Yoko Kanno) is amoung the greatest in anime history. It really is a rollorcoaster of emotions and ,I dont want to give away any spoilers, but I sobbed for almost ten minutes when it ended. 5. Mushishi - No sex, no violence, very little swearing, YET surprisingly wonderful. This show is very calm and laid back, and if you have patience, it will be one of the greatest animes youve ever watched. There is no continueing plot, so you can start and stop when ever you like. Each episode leaves you feeling compleatly satisfied, as if youve just watched an entire movie. 6. Mononoke - This is, hands down, the most beautiful anime Ive ever seen. The art direction is out of this world. The plot is mystery and drama, mixed with a bit of resque humor now and then. Watch it for the art if for nothing else. You wont believe your eyes. 7. Samurai Champloo - an over all wonder full show with wonderful plot, characters, and choreography. This show mixes the world of feudal japan with that of modern day hip-hop. With a beautiful score by Nujabes, this is a sure fire addition to anyone's top ten. 8. Naruto - Do I need to elaborate? We all know that Naruto is a wonderful show. If you read the manga (especially the recent ones) you know that it is a show rich in plot, character, and underlying themes. Naruto is popular, not becuase its cheap entertainment, but because it has an enchanting quality that drags you into its world. I think any Naruto fan can agree that they have certain characters that feel like family to them. 9. Full Metal Alchemist - Absolutley wonderful. If I had children, I would FORCE them to watch FMA. The morals and theames will undoubtably in some way help all of its viewers. I think ive cried more throuh FMA than i have in any other anime, and im not afraid to admit it. you will fall inlove with these characters. 10. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Last but not least, who doesnt love a mindless comedy? Lets just put it this way. The first time i watched this show, i accidentlally clicked on the raw version (dont you hate it when that happens?). It took me a while to press the back button though, because from the first second I was drawn it. Even though i had no idea what they hell they were saying, I still watched half of it and laughed so hard that i cried. THATS how funny it was, that it breached the freaking language barier.

Shakugan No Shana, Ranma 1/2, Tengho Tenge, Full Metal Panic and Samurai 7 are quite good and you can watch them all at animecrave in english dub.

is english dub english subtitles? Oh well. Um I would say Naruto (not that much romance except sakura always being on sasuke's sack. But everything else), Inuyasha, Kare Kano (translated "His and Her Circumstances), which you can watch in english on Demand with Comcast, and Case Closed. Everything else you can watch on youtube.

Ranma 1/2. Has some romance, action, and comedy. All seven seasons, 11 OAVs, and three movies have been dubbed. It has been around for a while, so episodes can be found all over the place: BitTorrent, YouTube, etc.

Obviously try Youtube, and I highly recomend Fullmetal Alchemist and Yu Yu Hakusho. The movies Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are amazing, too.

Try Inuyasha its about a demen boy a girl from another time.Inuyasha is in love with Kagome and their are signs that they love each other.the funny thing about it when Inuyasha gets on Kagomes nerves she says sit and he smashes into the ground and makes a big deal about it.And theres this anoying monk that touch that demon slayers butt and gets slapped.

and its good quality anime (the title its pretty long..but if u search kenichi its fine)...
