i have a Dell Inspiron 6400 and next to the on button it has all these fancy light up things and one of them is the Bluetooth symbol but i have no idea how to activate bluetooth on my pc and i would quite like to as i am getting a new phone on friday and theres no usb to connect with pc to i would like to be able to bluetooth my pics to my pc and now im rambling but basically

how do i set up bluetooth on my pc. i need a dummies guide please...

oo also incase you need to know its XP edition, and pretty new....

If it is up and ready, there is such Bluetooth symbol icon near the time display by the XP's screen inside the system tray, if not Bluetooth software is not even installed.

It must be a blue oval with a white B inside of it for it to be ready-for-use; red B means unconfigured/unusable hardware, green B means Bluetooth is currently in use.

Your Dell setup CD must have a step by step, generally you just need to install Bluetooth software first.
