i have forgotten most of the dates in my work history after all these years, is there a web site that i can go to get help finding out when i worked at these places and tell me what my work history is. for my past, is there any free sites. thanks

Thank goodness no one yet has a website of everyone's work history - way too much of an invasion of privacy!

However you can try to figure out your dates by checking old paystubs, if you have them, or better yet, your past Tax records. If you remember the companies you can call and ask for the dates you worked there. You could try going to the social security website - they DO keep a record of your payments into SS system from all your past jobs, and might have a way for you to request information.

Do you have any old resumes laying about? that could help if you documented work history earlier.

If you can try to remember the year to year or month/year to month/year. I'm an interviewer and we check for a stable work history, not the exact date you started. What matters is having a gap in your work history.

You can give approximate dates and explain that you just don't have the exact dates. Most companies really don't want to know what you did over 10 years or so ago anyway.

no there is no web sit, just come close as possible, that should be good. info on this stuff could go back 40, 50 years that is why there is no web site..........

Just call personnel and they will tell you or will send them to you. You might have to request this in writing.
