Not really, on contrary, when Mr Blair was a prime minister, Great Britain was the first country to offer the USA help against "terrorism", & we shouldn't forget that helping hand, however, I wonder what the policies will be now, that the same(Great Britain) has a new prime minister. I don't believe that the iraqui war is a mistake, although war is brutal, but defeat shouldn't be the answer. "Terrorism" is unacceptable, & the whole world should be combating, not only Israel, USA, Nato, or Great Britain.

I think some British might be thinking "Good Riddance" and others could care less. Really, it is our holiday and I am guessing that the majority of British people aren't really giving it another thought. I am thankful however, that our two countries are friends. I am very proud as an American to have the great nation of England as our ally and friend.

I would think they would be breathing a collective sigh of relief, given that the recent bomb attacks were failures, and a war that occurred centuries ago is the last thing on their mind.
