Repairing canoe lip framework - any extruded aluminum kits out there?

I have an old 17' fiberglass canoe that has no edge supports anymore, no way to attach seats. The wood all rotted off, I bought this canoe from a former co-worker in this condition. I've heard of an extruded aluminum frame that can be mounted to the canoe edge, but haven't found a place to buy it. Anyone have any recommendations for repairing an old fiberglass canoe? I haven't had much luck locally finding any canoe or kayak places that specialize in this ( northern Virginia ). Thanks!

Sir, do you have time to tell me where to look for a used canoe? What kinds of places might offer them? I only want a 12 ft. so I can carry it myself. Thank you for taking the time.
