If you're supposed to pronounce it Shardonnay, its not too bad. Its a type of wine though and its kind of a weird name for a person. Also, people might pronounce it Shardannie and that would be embarrasing.

Good for wine, but not so sure about for a kid. Please remember that your child has to live with his/her name and choose something that will allow others to take him/her seriously or at the very least won`t get the cr*p kicked out of him/her in the playground!

I wouldn't recommend naming a child that but it's just my opinon. It looks like someone misspelled Chardonnay and it could lead to pronouncing problem.
