She did the crime so she had to do the time, any regular citizen would have gotten the same or even more time for all the DUIs she had plus she was on probation. She is only acting like lil miss goody 2 shoes now so that we forget about her crazy partying and porn movie, since she is 25 now and wants to be taken more seriously. But I don't think it will last long she is probably jonesing for some drinks and any reason to go down on Tom, Dick or Harry ! LOL :P

Actually most of us would have been jailed the first time. If you disobey a judges order it is contempt of court. If you drive on a suspended license it is a mandatory jail sentence of 20 days. This is in California. Paris just made a big thing about it because she is a self absorbed brat. Trust me we know her and watched her grow up. Real Jail sucks. She would have been in LA County and would be in with the regular population sharing a cell with four to six other women. She would be lucky if she even got a bed. Forget the scratchy blanket. You get hot dogs that are Grey inside and have pink brush strokes on them. You get a slice of Velveeta on a stale roll. And that's the good food. Florescent tapioca and pancakes that taste like drywall with syrup that tastes like 3 in one oil. Now that's jail not prison. I have never been to Prison but I have heard stories about some of them. Man you don't know. I went to jail because of a mistake. I got out after four days but it was a holiday Lincolns birthday. So by the time I was arraigned it was past the legal 48 hours and my speedy trial was violated. I did nothing but have a big Afro. This was the early 70's. Paris did rich girl time. She's a joke.

First of all, she has not been transformed into a goody goody. She still is, and will continue to be the celebuslut that she always has been. Second, doing what she did while on probation would land anybody in the slammer...and if were you or I, nobody would care if we were on the verge of a nervous breakdown (actually, I think it was a case of electronic flash withdrawal) or had a rash. So don't give me that "poor poor Paris" gorgonzola. She was treated fifty time better than some poor schlump like you or I would have been, and shes is still nothing more than some skanky piece of trailer trash who just happens to have boatloads of money. Give me a break.

Frankly, there are more important issues in this Country than Paris Hilton...btw..she is 26 yo. and I could care less about the snoot, I mean spoiled brat !
She is an adult and needs to take reponsibility and the law seriously. Yes, she did deserve what she got and people that I've known have received alot worse. DUI'S are not something to be taken as a laughing matter. Pretty much--she got alot of undeserved publicity.

If they made an example of Paris Hilton, then they did a damn good job of it. She chose to use her celebrity to cater to the "teenybopper" crowd, therefore, she had an obligation to be a role model for them, which she did not do. Hopefully, this will be her chance to be one.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck..... it's probably a duck. She hasn't changed. The act is only so that she can win back some positive publicity. She is as fake as a $3 bill.

I doubt that she learned anything from her stint in jail. But I am glad that she went to jail. Just because she is famous(and she is famous for what again?!) doesn't mean that she is any better than the rest of us.

It seems as she ended up using them. Garnering all that attention and scoring an appearance on Larry King. You usually have to pay for that kind of publicity, if you can get it at all.

no actually every 'normal' person should have and probably would have gone to jail for what she did.
you don't think that driving under suspension because she was caught driving drunk is a big deal?
I wonder how you'd feel if she hit and killed someone you love?
