I used to read books about the "savages" that had piercings all over their bodies and they were soooo ugly and they were killed everywhere they could be found because they were "heathen savages". What makes us so different?

under the false trappings of culture, society and civilization we are much like our ancestors. otherwise why haven't we gotten past the primitive desires of warfare, blood lust and inhumanity to man in all its various forms.

I don't know if people are really different. This may be a little off topic, but I think humans are just as bad as they ever were. A good example would be reality TV....talk about savages.
