Stooges, one of the greatest bands of all time. Raw Power is a fantastic album, but to me Funhouse takes the cake. So bluesy, so gritty.....an absolute masterpiece all the way through. TV Eye and Dirt are grinders, slowly eating away at you with their raw unbridled songmanship. Gets into your soul and does crazy damage. Love it.

Are We Talking About The Three Stooges Or Iggy And The Stooges Here? Either Way A Couple Of People Have Grabbed The Wrong End Of The Stick. I'm A Massive Fan Of The Stooges. I Know They Didn't Have Much Commercial Success When They Were First Active, Infact They Barely Sold A Record. Doesn't Matter Though, They Were Very Influential To Punk Aswell As Heavy Metal And Iggy's Stage Antics Were Legend. Great Band.

Adding to the list of your questions that I have answered... yes! :D
I haven't picked up this last album though...some of my friends said it wasn't up to par so I wanted to hear some of it before purchasing.
Iggy is the man, whether he is performing with the Stooges or alone.

I saw the Stooges in the beginning, in Detroit, in the late 60's early 70's. He would jump off the stage 20 feet into the audience... wild times! The thing is he hasn't changed all that much, maybe a few more wrinkles. They played the Grande Ballroom, Cobo hall, Rooster Tail &different clubs in Michigan. also Ted Nugent, MC5... Kick out the jams MF's, Bob Seeger & the lastherd. Alice Cooper, right here in my hometown of chatham , Ont . Can. About 50 miles from Detroit. Saw them all many times, funkadelics, those were good times. Now my son is a bass player in a band called Nerve, check it out on Myspace, Nerve, from Chatham, Ontario Canada. They play in the stes & Canada.
