I think he is a joke. When asked what his response would be to another attack on American soil, he gave a "Katrina-esque" answer saying he would make sure first reponders were on call blah blah blah blah...

...and what about that gay book he wrote? "The Audacity of Hope"? Come back to me when you write a book called "How to Kill 10,000 Terrorists" and maybe I'll take you seriously.

I could care less about his book or his answer to an attack on American soil. It's not like we can stop people from blowing things up. It's happened before and it will happen again. We can minimize it and talk about precautions, but everybody should be able to provide some reasonable answer as to how to do that, what sets Obama apart is that he is failing to do the things he was elected to do.

Let's think, democrats take the midterm election and exit polls show people want us out of Iraq. When the senate pushes a no funds bill and exercises their ONLY POWER (the power of the purse), he make a public statement 'of course we will give money to the troops...blah blah'. That's just dumb and irritating. It weakened the party he is a member of in my eyes, defeated any sense that they presented a unified front, and well..way to maintain the bluff Barack...Note to BO, try not to telegraph every move.

Then there's the whole job thing..the one he is supposed to be doing. How about you keep sending in the same bills until there isn't a choice. Maybe actually DO SOMETHING instead of sitting there with billary playing paddy cake or whatever it is they are doing. I may not like the republicans, but at least they have the brains to stick together and win gradeschool arguments.

How about that stance on the war BO? People want us out. The majority. That's how you win elections..what? Oh you think we'll stay unitl 'words words blah blah..more years..more dead US kids...blah blah words words'.. Way to stand out from the crowd. It's almost as if being a member of a minority means he sticks out already and that's all the self promotion he needs to do instead of doing his job and presenting sensible opinions.

Do I have a problem with having a black president? No. I'm with Chris Rock on that one. Do I have a problem having more of the same with a side of already being lazy and an extra helping of special interest (look at all that money he raised).. Yep.. sorry not who I want. Can he win. Probably in some way. I mean.....it's not like we haven't had some strange election antics in the last decade.

I hope he does not win, I will not vote for him.
Obama belongs to a very liberal branch of the Protestant Church that allows gay clergy and supports same sex marriage. It is his right to belong to that Church and I am not surprised that a liberal would belong to a church that made it easy to worship according to his liberal values.
B. Hussein Obama was at a church convention where he said that the Christian right was responsible for hijacking religion and causing a divide among people.
What I want to know is how the Christian Right has hijacked anything. The liberal churches like Obama’s are straying from beliefs and teachings that have been around for thousands of years and yet, those who are teaching the same values year after year are the hijackers.
I see this as a method to divide the electorate and to insult traditional Christian values in hopes of making people feel guilty for their beliefs. It is similar to the race card. Vote for Obama because he is black and you are guilty of slavery and racism. A vote for him will cleanse your sins and relieve you of the guilt of racism. Vote against him and you are the racist we know you to be. In religion he is saying that if you espouse traditional values and not the more liberal ones his church believes in then you are a bigot and dividing the country. Vote for Obama and show that you are not some radical right wing Christian.
By attacking the Christian Right and those who hold traditional Christian values, Obama is the one who is dividing people along religious lines. The shame of it is that he is attacking certain Christians for political expediency and for no other reason. I wonder if he will stick to this belief should he win the primary? Attacking the Christian Right in the general election race might be a recipe for disaster.

I wonder why Obama felt it was necessary to attack a segment of the Christian religion? Perhaps it was the Muslim blood running through his veins that made him do it. That might explain why he did not indicate that the beliefs of Muslims and their desire to take over the world are much more damaging then the beliefs of people who follow traditional teachings. Muslims hijacked more than religion when they killed 3000 of our citizens in the name of their faith.

I guess when a politician is 12 points behind an opponent who is Godless, he feels the need to inject religion into the debate.
When members of the Christian Right strap on bomb vests and blow up innocent people or fly planes into buildings, Obama can have his say. Until then he should stick to politics and leave religion to religious leaders.

Well, the question is whether he could win, not whether you would vote for him. Surely you don't imagine that the election will hinge on which candidate you support?

Obama has written two best-selling and critically acclaimed books. He is doing very well in the polls, and has raised an astonishing amount of a money for a little-known candidate. The Republicans certainly take him seriously, as do his Democratic opponents. It's too bad you didn't like his book. I assume you read it carefully? Or did you just dislike the title? Now there's a basis for informed decision-making!

I think he does because he is the change candidate on the Democratic side. Clinton has become the quazi-incumbent and the Democratic base is restless.

Obama can win the general if he is facing anyone but Giuliani. Rudy is different enough not to be swept under the tidal wave of change Obama wants to ride to the White House.

Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita,Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.

When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father Returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim From Indonesia.

When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He Is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya Soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over His son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking Major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

To claim that Obama either is a terrorist or was raised by terrorist is just so mind-bogglingly stupid I won't even waste my time addressing it.

To answer your question, if Obama wins the Democratic nomination, he will win the presidency. He's dwarfing every GOP candidate in fundraising because he's popular and the Republicans aren't.

Statistically speaking, every candidate, including Obama, has a chance to win the presidency. Such are the laws of probability !!!

Obama is a bright and capable man but most Americans are not ready embrace a black man to lead them. There are still so many people who like to label and destroy black people that they cannot see past the skin color and they would sooner vote for a donkey than vote for a black leader. Look at what you had to say about the man. You called his book GAY and you would want him to attack and destroy more people than George Bush did??? You don't want a leader. You want a dictator and warmonger.

Yes, he has a chance, but not a good 1. I doubt if he can beat Hillary for the nomination.

He definitely has a chance. Who has raised the most $$ for their campaign? Yep, that's what I thought. Which proves he has plenty of strong supporters.
