Is July 4th just another day? Is it insulting to see our celebrations on TV? Is it something nobody talks about? Am I insane to be so curious about how British people feel today? I know everybody is cool today, but is there a little resentment? I love you UK!

well i'm a brit and i can honestly say that most people are complete oblivious to the fact that its an important holiday for you.
and even those who are don't feel resentment.

That's actually a good question...I would probably say that Brits would feel insulted because we make a big deal out of it and it's almost like rubbing it in to their faces. But hey, thats only an answer from an Asian kid.

Like it's any other day. They have there own holidays. Why would they see celebrations on TV? They have there own TV. Are we flooded with stories about British holidays?

We have british tv networks in america.
Do you see people protesting? It's another holiday, there are TONS
