Wow. Umm... I'll let you know in an hour after I get the video downloaded. A nice HTML / text tutorial page might be better for dial-up users.

Go to www.php.net: they are the creators and are always up-to-date. You never will.
There are over 10,000 functions in PhP: you are on for a few years work.
With nearly all these functions, there are numerous code snipets added by pro's to help you make the most of it.

I don't want to download 85 MB (1/2 hour) to learn how to write an hello world application. You could put it on Google video or so.

The files for download are so large! You have to make available smaller files.

I wouldn't download an 85MB file.

Your hello world application is 85 MB? Variable declaration 200? Uh, don't you want to reencode into something more efficient?
