I was just interested after reading a book about his conquest. Could you please include stuff like if any major historical events may have not happened. Thanks! I know that 33 was old for those times, but what would have happened if he lived up to, for example, 50 or 60?

Actually 33 wasn't that OLD - - - even by standards of the time - - - the number one things that failed to occur as a result of Alexander's 'early' death was the question of succession. IF Alexander had lived he might have given The World an Alexander the Second and perhaps a Third and a Fourth. For reasons known only to Alexander he failed to father a gaggle of children when he was in his late teens & early twenties.

Conceivably even in turbelant Macedonia a ten or thirteen year old 'Junior' would have succeeded to power and Alexander's Empire would have continued to runs. With Alexander's DNA and guided by his trusted lieutenants such a Son may have held the Empire Together. Just as Europe witnessed hundred to three hundred year Dynasties so it may have been with Macedonia & Greece.

In fact if Alexander had lived another ten or twenty years all of us would stop using the word GREEK. Alexander was a Macedonian who spread Green culture & ideas. IF ALEXANDER had lived long enough to actually RAISE A SON, instil in him and perhaps brothers & sisters, Alexander's ideas about statecraft & warfare - - - then there might have been a MACEDONIAN AGE and perhaps there would have been No rise of Rome.

Joy ---------------

It's tantalizing to wonder how the Middle East would appear today. Alexander desired a co-mingling of the cultures within his "Empire". Many of his generals were confounded by his adoption of Persian dress and culture.

Alexander was a visionary person who understood that peace within the empire depended on understanding and acceptance of the cultures within it.

When his realm was divided amongst his three top dogs, the foundation for all the troubles we see in the region today was laid.

Perhaps had Alexander lived into his 60's, the world would be a very different place indeed.

I think by premature you mean like 13-15 years old.
If he woud not conquer and other the persians woud conquer Europe only the romans woud have a 40% chanse to stop them but i dont think so.

He died at 33, that was pretty pre-mature.
