Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!

You need to act fast on this. The longer you use your computer, the greater the likelihood that the deleted files will be overwritten on the hard disc.
There are a number of recovery software programs. The one I have used with some success is Recuva, free download from the link below.

If you can estimate a time that they were on your computer, do a system restore. (Start>Programs>accessories>System tools>System restore. However, there's no guarantee this will work. Plus, all things modified and saved after the date you restore too will really be gone. It's like a time machine. You go back into the computer's past. Hope this helps.

Assuming the address space hasn't been overridden, you can use any number of data recovery applications to get them back.
Google for "Data Recovery"
