me and one my friends were born on tthe same day of the same year and our births r separated only by a couple of hours..and our birth places are 200 kms apart....we have the same birth chart except for the interdivision of the birth star.. now there seem to be no connection between our lives at all... iam quite different from him in lot of ways......y is this so.....??

This is easy to understand when you take into consideration past lives. Two people are born close together in time and location and yet they are totally different from each other insofar as personality, temperament, interests are concerned. If you think this is the only life you have ever had or ever will have, then it appears to be some accidental relationship that doesnt fit the scheme of astrological thinking. but, having said that, when you impose evidence of past lives, mapped onto present time, present day experience, then all of a sudden there is insight.

The degree on the horizon (your rising sign) changes every 15 minutes.
You two may have the same planets in the same signs, but the occupy different houses, thus different areas of life.
planets in 1,4,7,10 houses are square to one another, in that there is some issue between the energies that will have to be worked thru.
Accidents are usually a result of progressions + major transits. Remember for a major event, there has to be a natal promise (or a natal aspect between the planets invovled).
The lat/long determines rising sign and house position as well.

Okay so you are both probably dominated by your each different rising signs. Sometime the rising sign is the dominant factor in a persons makeup. That being the case 2 hours assures a different rising. I have seen this happen many times.
