Build-a-Bear is an experience...it's not like spending your college savings to "invest" in retired Beanie Babies. Besides...when it comes to something you love, who's to say what's overboard? Some people devote their lives to ham radio or coin collections, or a million other things I don't understand...I've seen more than 60 Michael Caine films...and in my house, we have at least as many Build-a-Bears as you do!

It doesn't seem overboard to me. On your list it only sounds like you actually bought two and the rest were gifts. I have a relative who has collected all kinds of bears for many years. She might have a hundred, but I haven't counted them.
