his only addiction was cigarettes. one of the reason behind that story is the movie "Fantasia". when it was first released, it was not that successful. like most Disney movies at that time (since VCR and DVD player did not exist yet) they re-released the movie in the late 60s, early 70s during the middle of the drug craze. when LSD use was at it highest. due to the theatrical music and colors, people that were high thought the movie was great. so you would have all these high hippies packing the theaters to see "Fantasia". so that is the true story about Disney and LCD.

No that is so far from the truth...Walt got the idea to start a theme park when he would take his girls to the local fair and let them ride on the merry go round. he thought that it would be a great idea for parents, grandparents to be able to ride a ride and enjoy it with their children. Notice that there were no roller coasters when walt built disneyland...he wanted everyone to learn and have fun together as a family. Now things have gone wrong there like california adventures and the other parks in florida that offer fast roller coasters most parents and grandparents cant enjoy that with their kids

He took mescaline from the San pedro cactus on numerous occasions. LSD may have been used but not sure. LSD in not physically addictive by the way so cigarettes were his only addiction.

You know what would be cool? It might hurt, though, but I KNOW you love Carousel of Progress... You could get the quote from the song as an anklet, written in Disney handwriting. "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day." If your tattoo artist is good at fine line detail, it might work. Otherwise, there's always that little purple Figment of your imagination. My Mom actually suggested getting Figment on the outside, and then having his tail wrap all the way around your ankle area. That would be super cute. I was googling "Disney tattoos" and found a few that were really neat. I like the kissing Mickey and Minnie one, but obviously, if you've already got one Mickey, you don't need another. Also, I did see some people who had the "symbols" of the original Epcot attractions tattooed in various places. They have one that's just the classic Mickey shape-- the ears and face in an outline.. There's just a plain Mickey and another one with a bow on top, and it's small enough that it's on a girl's fingers in place of rings.

LSD it wasn't even brought to the USA until 1949, too late to have been the driving force behind Disney's classic animated films.
