Here are 3 links to sites that offer free tutorials, the first one is probably the best for a beginner, it takes you through all the steps you need to use the program properly.

Dreamweaver is relatively easy to use, but it will take you several weeks to get full effect of it.
Then you will realise that:
1. It writes a crap code, hard to maintain,
2. It will NOT do complex things like linking to DBs, PhP and so on.
So...
Throw away DW.
Open a tutorial on HTML
Learn the basics. (1 week)
Learn Java basic (lift examples from other pages)
Learn PhP (www.php.net) (a week to get started)
Learn MySQL (data-bases) (only 5 or 6 functions required)
WRITE YOUR CODE USING NOTEPAD.
Clear, neat, efficient, easy to maintain, and you KNOW what you are doing...
(make a page with DW, read the code: you'll have NO IDEA what you are reading...)
THEN, you'll join the Pros.
