i know someone who is absolutely perfect, perfect hair, clever, can sing, dance, play instruments, does really well at school, looks nice all the time, is popular... i could go on! but is that good? it doesn't seem as though people like her that much, i know that most of my friends hate her (which is not fair, but people have their own opinions...) and i just want to know peoples opinions about it,
she's not exactly modest about it either, she tends to flaunt around, and take the mick of people not quite as perfect as her (which is just nasty!).
is being perfect really actually nice, good, fun, get's you anywhere? do people like you for it? can you actually be perfect??? just want to know peoples opinions! =]

no hun nobody is perfect. she may seem that way, but remember, those who act like their all that usaually have the most problems. If God made her perfect she wouldnt be being a ***** flaunting around that she is. if she has to SAY it and show off about it, she must not really be that perfect.
and no, i have to be around people who have flaws, and know they have flaws, that way were on the same page.

It's NOT so good to be perfect. In the very first, nobody can attain a 100% perfection. If someone's good at something, that same someone flunks at some other things. Take, for example the great Albert Einstein. Most high school folks do not know that Einstein once made a false assumption about the shape of our universe!
Just be better on things you want to do and attain - and if you have the potential, there's no wrong to being perfect on many things.

While I realize from your additional information that you are speaking about a specific form of "perfection" -- I still believe that the following can be applied to the situation that you describe as well.
First, I would reform the question to say, "...is it even possible to be perfect?
By what "standard" are you (or anyone else) able to measure and prove "perfection" by?
Please, don't quote the Bible or point to God -- as if we are not "perfect" (in our understanding, knowledge, thinking and perceptions), then how is it that we can discern or attain or recognize -- or even describe to others what perfection is or isn't?
Ever wonder why God has never created anything perfect?
Mostly I suspect it is because there are as many ideas and ideals of perfection as there are people on the face of the earth!?!?
Also, there is yet another "question within your question" -- and that is, "what is good"? And what does it have to do with perfection? ...or anything else for that matter?
When I use the word "good" I use it as meaning:
"...that which takes us forward on the path of Spiritual evolution toward greater freedom, livingness, intelligence, light and love. Evil is that which takes us back into the past to lesser freedom, lesser livingness, lesser intelligence, light and love."
Here is a whole page of inspired or enlightened quotes on the subject of something defined as "relative" perfection:
http://www.freeread.com/archives/relative-perfection-quotes.php
As far as all your other comments about this supposedly "perfect person" -- why or how is it that you find yourself so focussed and/or interested in what she is or isn't or what her friends and others are or aren't?
I would be inclined to believe that you and "her friends" are more envious of this person than you are curious as to the appropriateness of their (relative) perfection.
Why not make an attempt at some "honest" communication? With us AND with her -- and her (supposed) friends?
No, not that you will learn any more about them -- but you just might learn more about yourself.
Regards,

Nobody's perfect. If she's not modest, that's an imperfection. If she's nasty, that's an imperfection. Some people seem to have a better deal when it comes to life, but if people hate her .... Maybe she's like she is because people think she's too perfect to be a friend, so she doesn't really have any. Her "flaunting around" makes her seem to me to be very insecure. Just a thought! Hope this helps.

Nobody can be perfect, not even the person you described as such here. You described her as being perfect in the first paragraph, then said how she wasn't in the second paragraph!
Putting yourself on that high pedestal will not make you well-liked, as everyone will be envious (especially if you brag about it). *Trying* to make yourself be perfect will stress you out to the point where you can't have fun anymore.
Having skills will get you places, but you have to make sure that they are the places you want to go. For example, being able to play an instrument could get you into a band or orchestra, but if you don't enjoy it, it will not be worth it to you.
My main point is, being perfect (or trying to be) is not everything. It can come at a great cost.

Being perfect is different for each of us. Doing life perfectly involves taking risks and experiencing failure as well as success. We learn from both. Responsibility and spontaneity have the same word root. Live responsibly and you live a perfect life. It will be full of mistakes and fun. It will be perfect.

There is no such thing as perfect, we all have flaws and little quiks about us that makes us unique, If every one was perfect the world will be a boaring place.

no one can answer that question. because no one can answer it truthfully.
no one is perfect. not the girl with the "perfect" hair, body, smile, eyes, etc.
she is smug about it, apparently, so therefore she is not perfect.
do not seek perfection. because in humanity it does not exist.
