Who else is gonna boycott the movie? Not just the toy, I seriously can't believe there are people who actually buy this sexist crap. Teaching our children to be s l u - z. Brain-washing at it's very worst, the manufacturer ought to be sued for contributing to delinquency of minors.

What should be done?

I agree. Once, I was surfing through a site that talked about music, movies, cartoons from the 70's/80's/90's, etc, and I came across a discussion of what toys did your parents not allow you to have. Somewhere down the line, posters were saying how they would not allow THEIR kids to have Bratz dolls, mainly because of the whorish way they look and dress, and wearing so much makeup.

I also read a newspaper article where parents are trying to remove Bratz books from book fairs, because of one that supposedly teaches little girls how to be divas. Parental argument: that a six-year-old doesn't need to know what a diva is.

It's basically telling girls, "Forget using your brains, you can get the relationships, job, etc that you want just by using your beauty." In our society that is overrun with Britney, Lindsey and Paris in the news, if we can't find any good, decent role models who rely on both, we'll at least need someone who relies on brains alone.

To quote Judge Judy: "Beauty fades, dumb is forever." Girls need to keep this in mind.

I have never really been a big fan of the Bratz merchandise. I wouldn't say that I have been boycotting, but I do not allow her to buy the dolls. I most likely will not allow her to watch the movie. I will definitely have to preview it!!

i agree about what you said about the toys i've always hated them but im actually looking toward the movie but anyway i think we should send complaint to the manafactour (or however you spell it) & then we will see what happens but they probly wont do anything about it but i wish that could change

I agree
I do not like the image they give young girls growing up to become young women.

I don't buy any of their stuff but other do and we are powerless.
