None. If you elect any Republican not only do you get him, but you also get the entire GOP. If that meant Eisenhower Republicans or even Nixon Republicans that wouldn't be the worse thing in the world, but that's not what would happen. At this point the entire GOP world is populated by reactionaries, stooges for polluting industries, Oil Mafia dons, fascisti nitwits and Jesus freak rascals. Any reasonable old line Republican, even if elected, wouldn't stand a chance aganst the pressures that could be brought to bear aganst him. So, until the GOP cleans out these latter day Torys......no Republicans....not gonna' happen....wouldn't be prudent!

The following statement is as true now as when it was first uttered:
"There is something about a Republican that you can only stand him just so long; and on the other hand, there is something about a Democrat that you can't stand him quite that long." ---Will Rogers
None of the current crop from the two major parties have anything positive to offer. I shall probably cast my vote for someone else.
Am I throwing away my vote? No, I am casting it for someone who merits it. If enough folks did that, the two major parties -- wouldn't be.

Ron Paul honestly supports the Constitution, gun rights, and small government, so I'm rooting for him.
Should he not get the GOP nomination, I'll probably consider the Libertarian or Constitution Party nominee.

That question to a democrat would have the same general idea and produce the same feelings as this one:
What gangster do you like the most right now?

I like Fred Thompson. Will he run?
Fred seems to understand the role of Congress. The difficulties in determining what is the will of the American people these days.
I think our next President should be someone who understands everyone's job. And knows his. I think Fred does.

As men and a veteran I like John McCain,Chuck Hagel, and John Warner, because they all have one thing in common with me they are veterans of the US,military.
As for the party they are affiliate with I do not like because I am a Independent voter and I can separate the two its not that hard to do I like them for what they are but not the party for who they are.

I would maybe listen to Ron Paul, but I would not remotely consider any Republican for the next 10 years.

I am a dem and I can't think of a one that I could support. Which is saying a lot as I have crossed over to the Republican side in many elections.

The last thing this country needs is another Hawk--so I would have to go with Ron Paul if I had to choose one of them.
