The monuments in center field of The House That Ruth Built are awe inspiring. All the old parks have their own unique charm, which makes picking one over the others highly subjective.

Fenway is so unlike anything else, though . . . when you're there, it fills your senses and you can't imagine being anywhere else
It's terrific.

Coors field. What is the most interesting thing about this field is why they would ever agree to have baseball a mile high above sea level. At this park, no lead is safe. According to the article listed, the ball travels 9 percent higher at this altitude. In order to compensate for the increased home-runs that would be hit, they pushed back the walls creating a much bigger outfield which contributes to more base hits. (Would that make Todd Helton's BA a little inflated?)

As a Dodger fan, I am thankful for them being in the NL West because I do not think that they will ever be serious contenders due to their inability to attract marquee pitchers due to the ball park.

Ebbets Field in Brooklyn has to me the most unique ballpark ever. Look at the dimensions: 419 ft to left field, 477 to center field, and 301 to right field. That's completely crazy!

Shibe Park in Philadelphia was another one: 360ft to left, 340ft to right, and 515ft to center!

Today, Fenway has to be the most unique, with the Pesky Pole in right field, and the Green Monster in left.
